Last night, the Derek Trucks Band won their first Grammy award for “Best Contemporary Blues Award” with their album Already Free. Congrats to the members as well as everyone else that worked on the album. Other nominations for this category included Derek Trucks’ wife Susan Tedeschi which was nominated for her album Back To The River.
